Program Updates
2025/26 season registration is now open.
The Island Swimming Office is closed for holidays August 16 - 24.
Swimming Lessons Programs
(at Crystal Pool & Commonwealth Pool)
Fall and Yearlong Registration will open on August 20 - at 6am for SCP and at 7am for Crystal Pool.
Minimum Age Change: Please note that due to recent changes, 4- and 5-year olds will be unable to register for Swim Skills Junior at Saanich Commonwealth Place If you have questions, please contact Dan.

Upcoming Events
New Swimmer Assessment
The first step in joining our Island Swim Skills Team program is to schedule an assessment with one of our coaches. To schedule an assessment, please select the blue botton below! During July and August all assessments are at Saanich Commonwealth Place (SCP).
Please keep in mind that your child must be able to comfortably swim 25m unassisted in order to be able to join our precompetitive program. Alternatively, we recommend our lesson programs if they are not currently at this level of swimming.
ATTENTION: We have 2 special assessment days scheduled at the JDF Pool on Sept 8 and Sept 10 from 5-6pm while SCP is closed for maintenance. Click below on "Book assessment at JDF" to book your 15 min time slot!
Please read the info and schedule times carefully as there are 2 slots available per 15 min time slot.
The regular assessment schedule will continue at both pools in the fourth week of September. Booking will open soon.
